Physician Assistant

Eric Shmookler became a Licensed and Board Certified Physician Assistant in 1999. He received his training from the University of Central Florida in Orlando, Valencia Community College in Orlando and U.S. Navy Medical Hospital Corpsman, EMT, Paramedic and PA schools. Eric Shmookler completed his master’s of physician assistant studies at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, specializing in otolaryngology, and was certified in June of 1999.

A former native of Cincinnati, Ohio and graduate of the University of Cincinnati, Mr. Shmookler received degrees in psychology, zoology, and surgical assisting technology. At the Mayfield Neurological Institute in Cincinnati, he was trained in neurological procedures. Eric Shmookler also trained and functioned with the U.S. Army Medical Corps.

Eric Shmookler belongs to the American Association of Physician Assistants, California Association of Physician Assistants, Association of Operation Room Nurses, and the California Nurse Association.

Mr. Shmookler has certifications in ACLS, PALS and BLS.

Eric Shmookler joined the staff of White Memorial Medical Center in 2001. Mr. Shmookler specializes in the management of aerodigestive malignancies including tumors of the head and neck, lungs, gastrointestinal tract, pancreas and liver.
